Good story plot for a short story writing contest?

ok...we have this short storing writing contest in our school and our class president signed me up... I have no idea what to write about and most especially, what my plot would be... help please?

the theme is:
"Youth as a Catalyst for a Change"
ok...lol additional details xD

what does the theme mean? lol
i really don't understand it completely :p

1. write about drugs. and doing them. that always impresses people.

2. Well, "Youth" as in adolescents, "Catalyst" as in something/someone that initiates a reaction, and "Change" as in changing the world/society.
I would simply use dialogue for such a topic. A conversation, a debate, an argument, between youths and adults.
"It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it."
Think about it, let it sink in.
